Sherry Edmundson Fry

Classical Head 8 1/2" high, plaster (measurement is for the head only excluding the base) Reportedly a model for work exhibited at Pan Pacific International Exposition, 1910. Given by the artist to the consignor's grandparents(with accompanying letter.) Statement from the consignor: "Sherry was the longtime neighbor of my grandparents in Roxbury, CT. They were living on and farming land owned by a friend of SherryÂ’s, Harold Erskine. Sherry took meals with them for decades. He made portrait heads of two of the familyÂ’s daughters. I presume the items were gifts to the family, probably in the 1930s."
