Rare inkwell in leather with insect-style shibayama decoration Inside you will find an inkwell, letter opener, pen and a pencil, all in ivory with shibayama decoration. This rare item was made in Vienna, Austria, by Gebruder Rodeck. The ivory instruments and shibayama decoration were made in Japan. In good overall condition consistent with age and use. There are some scuffs on the leather and ink stains. I have not found any flaws in the shibayama decoration.
