A 19th Century English "Shipping Series" Covered Sauce Tureen. Blue and white transferware oval sauce tureen with shell form finial and handles at either side; Fleet Scene I with "Approaching Port" pattern at the interior. Unmarked. 4 3/8 x 7 1/2 x 4 3/4" high.
