Second Democracy - Dionysios I (413-399 BC), AR Tetradrachm, unsigned but attributed to Eukleidas, c. 410-405, fast quadriga left, driven by charioteer, holding long torch in right hand, Nike flying right above, crowning the charioteer, barley ear in exergue, rev. head of Arethusa right, wearing earring and necklace, with hair in bun, three dolphins and one swimming up from below neck, 17.06g (SNG Oxford 1999 (these dies); SNG ANS 280; Tudeer 61), lightly toned, struck onto a somewhat short flan with worn dies to reverse, nevertheless a rare set of dies, near very fine
