Side table - Mahogany

A Georgian mahogany tripod table with folding top, standing on a slender baluster with a turned center pedestal and three swept cabriolet legs. The top is made of solid mahogany and can be tilted upwards by loosening the brass banjo clasp.

This antique round table from the George II period is in good condition with some signs of wear consistent with its age, but no disturbing or unsightly damage. Due to its age and frequent folding, the brass plate may be somewhat worn, causing minimal movement in the blade. We easily solved this by sticking a few sticky felt pads on the top of the leg, which stops the top from moving when secured and thus feels sturdy.

The dimensions are 50 cm in diameter and 67. 5 cm high.
