Sideboard - Sideboard, buffet - Cuba mahogany

Great three-door sideboard or buffet from the short Directoire period that characterizes the end of the 18th century. Very little furniture remains from this beautiful period.
This mahogany furniture with paneled sides (solid mahogany) has a mahogany veneered top with two fairly wide drawers with the characteristic angular Directoire fittings directly underneath.
Below that are three doors, the middle one offset to the back. Quite a lot of gilded brass/bronze fittings on the corners and edges.
The whole stands on very beautifully proportionally cut claw feet.
As a hidden extra, a pull-out curb with three contoured shelves.
All locks present and working with key.
In good and ready-to-use condition.
