Pose of a noble gentleman in 19th Century Middles Eastern, Algerian dress identified as "Clive de Guire-Aite". The written inscription by Ms. Hughes reads in part: " To my cousin, Ursula, Olive de Guire Aite ". Signed by artist, lower right Alice Hughes. On reverse, is the photographer's address in her hand.
