Signed Invitation by Rabbi Meshulam Zusia of Zin'kiv for the wedding of his Daughter

Signed invitation from Rabbi Meshulam Zusia of Zinkiv to the wedding of his daughter with the chassan, Rabbi Moshe Shapira.

Rabbi Moshe was the son of Rabbi Pinchas Shapira of Slavita, son of Rabbi Moshe Shapira, Av Beis Din of Slavita and founder of the renowned Slavita printing press, son of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz.
The wedding took place in Cheshvan, 1857.

Rabbi Meshulam Zusia (1815 - 1864) was raised by his grandfather, the Apta Rav. The Apta Rav mentions him in his sefer Ohev Yisrael, praising his bright question at the young age of eight and describing him as his wondrous and brilliant grandson. In 1856 he succeeded his father's position as Admor of Zinkiv and led thousands of followers. Rabbi Meshulam Zusia published his grandfather's sefer, Ohev Yisrael, and wrote a remarkable introduction.
