No. 853 of 1000 large paper copies, hand-numbered with Putnam's Sons facsimile autograph.

Signed by Roosevelt beneath the frontispiece photogravure portrait. Laid in is an early Newbegin's Books receipt for the book, Newbegin's label on recto of rear free endpaper. Bookplate of J. Wesley Ladd on front flyleaf.
Condition Report: Spine slightly sunned, one tender signature with a few sprung leaves resulting, some offsetting from bookplate; else near fine.
