Significant longcase clock, Bergisches Land, around 1780, Baroque, wood housing with furniture and with sloped sides and ribbon marquetry, gable with Rocaille carving and trombone players (1 trombone missing), broke- arch dial, in arcus phase of the Moon (above formerly with half ring display), centre second and date display, enamel platter in bowl shape (rim damaged), signature: "Johann Wilhelm Winkel Elberfeld" (see ref.: Abeler, p. 602 ff), *1726 +1800, his works belong to the top performance of the Bergisch watch makers, brass plate movement with anchor escapement, ext. cadrature with large wings and arranged rack strike train, running period. approx. 1 week, half hour-strike on 2 bells (larger bell missing), drive over 2 wheels and 2 weights (1 weight and winding handle missing), H. approx. 246cm, condition of movement 3-4, housing 3, absolute museum
