Group of (8) silhouette portraits, to include: pair of bust-length portraits by JOHN MIERS (British, 1758-1821), of a lady and a gentleman, gouache on paper with gilt highlights, dated ''1793'' in ink to verso of gentleman, (the gentleman with paint crackle, the lady with small losses); portrait of a young man in sailor suit, cut-out paper with black ink and gilt highlights, on paper with ink wash foreground, along with stamp embossed ''By R. W. Barnes'', (paint crackle); pair of bust-length portraits, of a woman and child, cut-out paper with gilt highlights, both stamped ''Cut with Scissors by E. Whittle, 183'' to paper verso, and with inscribed names and dates to frame verso; and pair of bust-length portraits by the same hand, of a man and woman, cut-out paper with gouache details, on paper mount, unsigned, (one peeling slightly, the other with mold). Along with 20th century portrait of boy with dog, cut-out paper with crayon shadows, (fading, water stains). Not examined out of frames, all with toning. Largest sight (R. W.
