The meal was monumental in itself, with multiple courses and side dishes, offering turtle soup; boiled salmon; leg mutton; tame ducks in olives; chicken curry a l'Indienne; roast beef; woodcock; pigeons stewed in capers; asparagus; cocoanut pudding; charlotte Russe, and more.
