PARIS, 1819–1838. The body, encircled by a frieze of water leaves, rests on three claw-foot legs with palmette-shaped finials. It features a spout adorned with floral motifs and ending in a horse’s head. The lid, edged with a frieze of water leaves, is domed and topped with a handle in the shape of a stylized acorn.
