Silver (Guido Silvestri) Silver (Guido Silvestri) - Lupo Alberto e Marta, 80s
pencil and ink on thin cardboard
25,5 x 18 cm
Original illustration made by Silver in the 1980s during his collaboration with SuperGulp. Silver completed his apprenticeship at Bonvi's studio, where he worked on already well-known characters such as Nick Carter, Cattivik, and Capitan Posapiano. His turning point came in 1974: he debuted a comic strip of his own invention in Corriere dei Ragazzi, featuring farm animals. Although the first strip featured a rooster, a friendly blue wolf quickly stole the show, thus beginning the forty-year success of Lupo Alberto. Signed.
