The transparent nature of the technique that Simone Zacharias uses and the layering with which she works, fit well with her favorite subject: the plant world. She often bases her artworks on photos taken on walks. Detailed shots are processed in the studio into a coherent painting. With each work of art, the artist tells a new story and tenderly rewrites real events. This painting has a graceful character. Due to the dimensions (80 cm high and 40 cm wide) , the work can be placed excellently on narrow pieces of wall (for example at the end of a narrow corridor) .
