On offer here is a Persian carpet -Sirjan-. The carpet is approx. 8 mm thick and has signs of use and wear in line with its age. Sirjan carpets are hand-knotted by a sub-branch of the Afshar tribe in the Sirjan district in southern Iran. The carpets were originally part of the nomadic lifestyle. Each carpet is the result of the individual expression of the weaver behind it, they all show nature with all its beauty in one form or another. A Sirjan carpet is a great way to beautify a room while giving it a sense of serenity and warmth.
