Six 19th C. Middle Eastern Brass Vessels

Middle East, ca. 19th century CE. A charming collection of six brass vessels, each decorated with ornate repousse forms - swirls, flowers, avian forms - aside from the largest vessel, which has an openwork motif of relief leaves and vines. Three of the others are teapots, two tall and matching with decorative lids. Another is a pouring vessel with a large, open mouth, while the sixth is a simple vase of a richer brass color, with fewer deposits, featuring a wide base and narrowed mouth. Size of openwork vessel: 12.75" W x 12.5" H (32.4 cm x 31.8 cm)
