Sliced Ammonite Pair Cleoniceras sp. Cretaceous Madagascar 3.78 x 3.04 x 0.39 inches (9.59 x 7.73 x 1.00 cm) This matched pair of Ammonite halves obviously originated as a single fossil shell. The internal chambers exhibit delightful form and have been preserved with colorful mineral replacement giving the specimens visually appealing polished faces. Sediment has filled in the whorls, and the exteriors exhibit some nacre. [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
