Small Chinese Gilt Bronze Jue Cup, Ming Dynasty
A small Chinese gilt bronze jue cup dating from the Ming dynasty. It has one handle with vertical protrusions. The cup has three curled feet.
Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 4 inches wide, 8.9 cm X 10.2 cm. Weight: 122.1 grams. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is gilt and age wear.
Provenance: From Mr. Zaun's collection in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Zaun lived in Taiwan with his wife from 1967-68 where his interest in Chinese history and artifacts blossomed. Lots 100-105 from our Nov 14, 2020 auction were from Mr. Zaun's collection.
