Small Chinese Han Terracotta Hu
In the style seen in the Western Han dynasty (206 BCE - 9 CE). Very well formed and painted overall in the style of the period with red, black and white pigment/slip. Molded masks od detailed relief applied on the top of the body at the shoulder. Ring handles are missing. The intact lid has three protruding spearpoint elements in white slip.
