Offered here for your consideration is a small size sterling silver concho belt/hat band by Ray Adakai. The belt has 11 butterfly conchos, 10 oval conchos, and one rectangular buckle. The butterfly conchos each have repousse work and nice stamped designs. The oval conchos feature scalloped edges accented with great stamped designs. The rectangular buckle features repousse work and nice stamped designs. The conchos are on a thin, supple black leather adjustable belt/band. MAKER: The buckle is hallmarked RAY ADAKAI on a plate (stamped). Ray Adakai (1965-; Navajo).
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (1980s or newer).
SIZE: The overall length measures 35 1/4 inches long. The butterfly conchos measure 3/4 inches wide x 7/8 inches tall. The oval conchos measure 1 3/4 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The buckle measures 1 3/4 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches tall, and fits a 3/8 inch belt or hat band. The total weight is 166.4 grams.
