Blued metal finish with color case hardened hammer and trigger mounting checkered walnut Smith & Wesson medallion grips with half-moon front blade and topstrap notch sights. Double-action hand ejector six-shot revolver with a pinned barrel and five screw frame. Item shows matching serial numbers to the cylinder, star extractor, barrel, and frame. Standard markings include Smith & Wesson monogram trade mark to the right sideplate, four-line address on the frame, and standard SMITH & WESSON and caliber markings on the barrel. Item comes in a period and model appropriate Gold colored Smith & Wesson marked two piece cardboard box with an aluminum cleaning rod and copper bore brush.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Minty with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows a faint turn ring to the cylinder, operating scratch to left hammer, and brown flecking around the cylinder. Further flecks appear on the triggerguard and hammer spur. Barrel shows some flecks to the finish and one spot of pinpoint pitting. Case colors remain vibrant. Grips retain crisp details. Action exhibits good timing. Box shows some scuffs along the edges and a crack forming at one end.
