.45 Colt. 6.5" pinned ribbed barrel. SN: S&W9955 (mfg. ca.1977). Blued finish, color casehardened .5" grooved trigger and .5" checkered hammer, smooth oversized S&W medallion target grips. Double action N Frame revolver with 6-chambered fluted swing out cylinder, white U outline adjustable rear sight and ramped front sight with orange insert. Left side of barrel marked .45 CALIBER with gold highlights, right side marked SMITH & WESSON/125TH ANNIVERSARY, again with gold highlights. A gold highlighted S&W 125th anniversary logo is present on the right rear of the frame. Lower right front of frame with four-line address mark. The revolver includes a S&W factory presentation box with flocked dark blue fitted insert, and a commemorative S&W coin, but is missing the Roy Jinks book.

Condition
Good. Bore very good, mostly bright with strong rifling and moderate amounts of frosting in the grooves. Metal with most of the blued finish present, but poorly stored with patches of light to moderate surface oxidation and some areas of surface roughness and finish loss. Mechanically functional, grips with some light wear. Case fair to good, showing wear and with moderate damage to the inside as the entire upper display section that stores the missing book had detached from the lid and shows moderate damage.
