.41 Magnum. 4" pinned barrel. SN: S249621. Blued finish, color casehardened trigger and hammer, smooth varnished oversized S&W medallion target grips. Double action 3-screw N frame revolver with fluted swing out 6-chambered cylinder, white outline adjustable rear sight, ramped front sight with orange insert, .5" checkered target hammer and .5" grooved target trigger. Right side of barrel marked 41 MAGNUM, left side marked SMITH & WESSON. Right side of frame with S&W logo at the rear and four-line address at the lower front. The revolver is contained in a S&W wood case with blue flocked fitted plastic interior. It is accompanied by a cleaning rod with brush, bore mop and screwdriver.

Condition
Very good to near fine. Fine bright bore with excellent rifling. Metal retains nearly all of the blued finish, with a light turn ring on the cylinder. Metal shows some freckled oxidation and flecks of hazy surface rust scattered here and there and in particular on the backstrap, rear sight and around the front sight base, with a few tiny areas of minor surface roughness on the cylinder. Markings remain clear and crisp. Case colors mostly vivid on hammer and trigger. Mechanically functional action. Grips very good with some light handling marks and moderate loss of varnish, as well as some mildew residue. Case good with wear, interior well worn with cracked damage to the insert.
