Smith and Wesson No.3 Third Model .44 S&W Russian revolver, serial number 25096, 6.5inch sighted barrel, Birmingham hidden marks, stamped with makers address and patents, hinged frame with six shot cylinder, hardened rubber grips. SECTION 7.1 / 7.3, UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .44 REVOLVER OR SECTION 5 RFD REQUIRED. Dimensions: 30cm longCondition Report The revolver is in good general condition. The bore is mirror bright with well defined rifling and no signs of damage. The action works positively and correctly with good timing and lock up. There is most of the original blue remaining which is wearing through to brown in places. Traces of colour case harden remain of the trigger guard and hammer, there is some very light corrosion to the trigger guard bow. One grip has a deep scratch.
