Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 10 Military & Police .38 SPL Double Action 2" Revolver S-Prefix
Manufactured by Smith & Wesson circa 1948, this desirable Pre-Model 10 K-frame revolver is an early postwar example featuring the sought-after "S" prefix serial number, with matching serial numbers found on the barrel, cylinder, and base of the grip. This example features the highly desirable 2" barrel with an integral rear notch and fixed blade front sight. The left side of the barrel is correctly roll marked with the two-line "Smith & Wesson / .38 S&W SPL CTG" designation. Chambered in .38 Special, double and single action with case hardened trigger and finely checkered hammer. Blued finish throughout and fitted with factory checkered walnut grips and silver-tone S&W medallions. CALIBER/GA: 38 SPL. S/N: S921538. FFL: Curio & Relic.

Retains 93% finish with some wear on the high edges, faint 1/4" scratch on the left side of the frame and light drag line on the cylinder. The grips show light wear with few light scratches on the base and sharp checkering. Good bore and mechanics.
