Smithsonite Kelly Mine, Magdalena, Magdalena District, Socorro Co., New Mexico, USA "A very unusual "dumbbell" shaped crystal cluster. Got the specimen from Ed Swaboda [sic]. The scale under the specimen is an inch with a rule at one cm." - Rock H. Currier Not a big one, but quite unusual in form for a Kelly Smithsonite. Color and everything else clearly says: Kelly. Would make a nice nose or ear ornament for those of you fond of that 'modern primitives' look, otherwise this is a great thumbnail specimen. Overall Measurements: 1.0 x 0.7 x 0.6 inches (2.5 x 1.7 x 1.5 cm) Offered at no reserve Provenance: Bought from Ed Swoboda [RHC #4469, acquired 1980] MinID 4F7-LL4 [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
