Imperial Russian silver and niello snuff box / tabatiere with St Petersburg scenes. On one side is the “Bronze horseman” statue of Peter the Great with the Admirality building and Senat. Inscription: “To Peter I from Catherine II” On the reverse the Neva river with boats, Rostra columns and Stock Exchange building on the Strelka. Dimensions: 7,7 x 4,8 x 1,5 cms Weight: 77 grams Hallmarks: regional assay office mark for Moscow together with the fineness mark 84 and the year 1826 Assay masters: Н.
