Snuff box - .900 silver - Austria - late 19th/early 20th century

AUSTRIAN ENAMELLED SILVER . 900 SNUFF-BOX, VIENNA, BETWEEN 1870-1921 Rectangular box with canted corners, the cover centred by a clover shape enamelled plaque depicting a romantic scene, with a women sitting in her partners lap, drinking wine, while her partner smelling a blue flower on her breasts. The cover is framed withing golden borders, with a blue enamel panel. Canted corners, framed withing golden borders are enamelled in white, engraved en taille d'épargne and hung with gold swags. All 4 corners of the cover are beautifully saw-pierced and handmade engraved . Rest of the sides are embellished with light blue guilloche enamel panels within golden borders and Interior is gold gilded.
