Snuff box, Antique French Gold Vermeil Picture Snuff Box (1) - .800 silver, Gold - France - mid 19th century
A beautiful hand chased floral and scrollwork design around the edge of the box and also on the top of the lid. The lid has a removable picture frame which can be taken out and used for your own photo, there is currently a portrait of a red haired lady wearing a large hat. The interior has a beautiful bright gold Vermeil and there are 2 hallmarks on the box (boars Head) . There is some slight wear to the base of the box.
