Solid Brass Skylight Yacht Binnacle

Early 20th Century yacht binnacle compass with six-sided skylight top. Light burner housing is fitted to the top. The entire binnacle has been meticulously polished and lacquered including the compass. The gimballed compass is by Ritchie of Pembroke Mass.. The pedestal is mounted to a thick wood base with rope carving. The interior is wired with warm LED lighting. Circa 1925
