Soo Line Adlake Kero Railroad Lantern

An early 20th-century Adams & Westlake Co. (Adlake) Kero short-globe railroad lantern manufactured in Chicago, Illinois. Features embossed "SOO LINE" lettering on the top cap and a clear glass globe cast with patent dates. Constructed of steel with a wire frame body, original burner assembly, orange enamel paint finish, and a wooden bail handle. Displays physical age including surface rust, metal oxidation, paint flaking throughout, and soot residue on the clear globe. The wooden handle has visible age cracking, but remains structurally sound. H 14", W 8", D 6". See photos for condition.
