Dealing with all aspects of life at the Cape, incl. flora and fauna, geography etc. Containing an extensive description of the life and culture of the indigenous Hottentots with interesting plates illustrating their various habits (of i.a. hunting, fishing, childbirth and childcare, warfare and their various superstitions).
