South Arabian Draped Standing Figure
6th-3rd century BC. A bronze standing figure with long flowing hair falling to the shoulders, arms bent and left hand in gripping pose, body clothed in a loose draped garment of multiple layers or pleats hanging from the left shoulder, bare feet joined in a sprue. 127 grams, 12.3cm (5"). From an important London collection; previously in the Nasser collection, kept in the UK since 1993.
