Southern American Classical Style Carved Mahogany Full Tester Bed, 19th c., the canted corner ogee tester on tapered octagonal posts, with a gathered fabric insert, over an arched headboard centered by scrolled carving, with serpentine rails and footboard with applied carving, H.- 110 1/2 in., Int. W.- 59 1/2 in., D.- 76 1/2 in.
Condition Report: Condition consistent with age and use. Chips present throughout the veneer. Tester upholstery would benefit from a cleaning. Tester appear to be original. 71 1/2” x 54” post to post, measured across top of rails.
