Southern Federal Walnut Drop Leaf Dining Table
Circa 1810 ,possibly Midlands South Carolina. The piece having a tight grain with two large leaves flanking the top crafted of two boards, the secondary wood is yellow pine throughout. The top resting on four handsomely formed and turned legs. 24 1/2" x 30" x 50" (closed) Used by the current owners' ancestors in one of York, South Carolina's earliest homes. Sold from the collection of a Blythewood, South Carolina lady.
