Charles VII Pretender silver Pattern 5 Pesetas 1874 MS65 NGC, Brussels mint, KM-XPT4b, Cal-11. Reeded edge. Struck for Charles VII, grandson of Carlos V and Pretender to the Spanish throne. A handsome gem selection in direct competition of contemporary Spanish circulation issues in terms of beauty, with a boldly displayed laureate bust of Charles struck with cameo-like effect and amber silhouetted gunmetal devices.
