Spalding/Vom Hofe Aluminum Trout Reel

A size 3 reel with a 2 1/2" diameter and 1" wide spool, clearly stamped "A.G. Spalding & Bros" on the head plate, with makers stamp "Julius Vom Hofe - Pat - Oct. 8 - '89" on the tail plate. Made of aluminum with German silver parts that include the full-length foot, counter-balance handle and spiral cut screw-off end cap, a VG condition reel with a few surface scratches on the tail plate side and one tiny rim ding near the foot screws.
