Frame: 38 1/2 x 30 inches. Scattered, minor areas of loss, lifting, flaking and splitting to the paint layer; areas of loss particularly visible along the vertical edges. Minor hole in the upper-right quadrant. Paint layer is generally dirty consistent with age; with areas of cockling throughout. Abrasions and areas of significant wear to the corners. Large rectangular area of repair to the back of the canvas approximately 5 1/2 x 13 inches. Examination under UV light reveals several large areas of repair and retouch. Additional images available upon request.
