South American Spanish Colonial pierced silver repousse and chased armadillo figural liturgical incense burner, hinged lid with a finial figure of a native Indian, the hinged body of the armadillo-form revealing a covered canister and chained spoon, end of tail also hinged, a lock and key motif hangs from the mouth, 19th century. 7.75" H x 11" W x 4.5" D. Approx 58.56 ozt.
