4 Antique spearheads of the Masai tribe, ca. 1950. Very nice spear which an old Belgian soldier has brought from his time in Belgian Congo in the 50s. This item was obtained from a private collection of an old Belgian soldier who served war in Belgian Congo during the time of independence. These beautiful spearheads of probably the Masai are made of iron and are forged by hand. The spears have different opening effects, and twisting of the iron, this ensures that these spearheads can also be used decoratively. On each spear there is an opening to hit the spear on a wooden stick to be able to throw with it. The spear is in very good condition, has light rust further the spearheads have been put in a protected layer of oil which must be maintained to maintain this condition. The largest spear has a length of 38 cm, the smallest has a length of 23 cm. Please examine the photos carefully for a good impression of the lot.
