Brooch in 18 K / 750 yellow gold with white gold on the back. The brooch is oval and consists of a total of 24 rays that go outwards from the center. At the end of each ray is a gem in a rappen setting. Alternating are 12 brilliant cut diamonds totaling 0. 72 ct. (F/VS-SI) with 12 sapphires totaling 0. 72 ct. edged. The gold rays of the sapphires are longer and set a little deeper, resulting in an interesting spatial impression. he sapphire in the center is about 0. 30 ct. The ray design is typical for the Sputnik era in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
