Staffordshire pastille burner which features a church adorned with flowers, stood on a rectangular detachable base. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Opening to the reverse, roof and walls.

Base: Fair. Chips to petals and leaves. RESTORATION: filled chip to section of shredded clay. Retouched flaking to the top side. Church: Fair. Small chips to petals and leaves, and one to base rim next to tower door. RESTORATION: stabilised and retouched cracks to tower; filled chips to petals and section of shredded clay to tower. Stabilised and retouched cracks to base rim and window frames.
