.30 Carbine. 18" barrel length. SN: 2232428. Parkerized metal finish with blued bolt set in a Walnut low-wood semi-pistol grip stock with bayonet lug and late pattern adjustable aperture rear sight. Short stroke piston driven semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable box magazines. Rear receiver shows STD. PRO. manufacturer marking for Standard Products with the forward receiver displaying model and caliber marking U.S. CARBINE/CAL. .30 M1. Barrel is marked UNDERWOOD/3-44/{Ordnance Bomb}, indicating the barrel was made in March of 1944. Components show various manufacturer markings including Saginaw Gear, Auto Ordnance, and others. Stock has been sanded and is without cartouches or circle P marking visible. Comes with one IS or International Silver marked 15-shot magazine.

Arms, Armor & Militaria Good. Bore is Bright with a ring approximately one inch from the muzzle. Metal finish shows some light edgewear with lubricant residues, and some scuffs to the edges. Further light scratches to the barrel. Stock shows some rounding to the edges with scattered handling mars, dings, and scratches. Some thinning to the blue on the magazine with brown patina forming. Item shows a muzzle erosion reading of 2, and a throat reading of between 1 and 2.
