A Star brass Manufacturing Co. nautical clock for the Great Lakes Engineering Works. Brass case with steel face with engraved "Great Lakes Engineering Works/ Detroit Mich." and "Star Brass Mfg. co./ Boston, Mass." Mounted on wood backing. 4 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 8 1/4".
Condition: Tarnish to case and clock face. Does not appear to be in working order. Includes four screws and key.
Provenance: GLEW was a shipbuilding company in Michigan from 1902-1960.
