Star Lot: A superb pair of grand original Montgomery Ansell (19th century) oil on canvas paintings showing dramatic landscape scenes of cascading waterfalls and sky scraping mountains, rendered in a sunset palette of intense oranges, rich purples and lush greens. Signed indistinctly bottom left and presented in antique elaborate moulded gilt frames. Ansell is a well renowned artist whose work has fetched up to €1100 at Whyte's. Some losses to frame.
