This is the unique hand drawn reproduction of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK movie poster, created by the great Spanish master Manuel Sanjulian, the creator of the original draft pencil commissioned personally by George Lucas in 1980.
It was around 1980 when Sanjulián received the commission from George Lucas to create a new painting for his upcoming movie release called STAR WARS:The Empire Strikes Back.
After the huge number of times that this work has been requested, in 2017 master Sanjulian finally decided to recreate an exact millimeter recreation from original (owned by family).
This original pencil work took more than two weeks to be replicated exactely as the former original drawing. It has been performed with the intention to become exhibited in several expositions and gallery events.
The original artwork comes with a certificate hand signed by Sanjulian that guarantees there's just one unique existing copy and that he'll never create a new original drawing again as replica of original one from 1980.
This original artwork has been specially hand selected and signed by master Sanjulian to be distributed by Corner4art Gallery SL and comes with its C.O.A.
This unique piece of art comes unframed.
