Very large extremely heavy bronze figure (51 kg. ! ! !) of Daikoku with nice original patina. Some silver inlay work on several places of the statue. On his belly the symbol of the Boudhistic flame in silver inlay. Daikoku is one of the seven lucky gods. He is recognised by his wide face, smile, and a flat black hat. Standing on two rice bales waving his magic mallet that produces anything desired (uchidenokozuchi) and a large bag with "prosperity" over his shoulder. Some light scratches and signs of age. Made in two parts. One of the two small connecting parts is missing. Because of heavy weight it is still completely stable. Signed at the back: Hidemasa. Weight: 51 kg ! ! !
