Fine Nkisi/Nkondi Powerfigure of the Songye people from DR Congo. The male statue is looking over the right hand shoulder. Metal nails in the hairdo. The eyes are covered with messing plates. Often they put magical substance in the holes of the eyes. Beads around the neck. Metal rings around the arm. Navel covered with glass. Ex collection USA. Now in my private Dutch collection.
