Modelled by J.J. Kaendler and P. Reinicke, wearing a pointed hat with red and gilt stripes and yellow bows, a yellow-lined white coat applied with yellow bows, a grey vest with moulded pattern and gilt foliate ornament, a puce skirt with black belt and red shoes, the base applied with leaves and flowers, 23.3cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear of base right hand restored, some restoration to applied ribbons
Based on pl. 83 in the Comte de Ferriol's 'Receuil de cent estampes représentant différentes nations du Levant. . . . ', Paris 1714, or the edition published in German by Christoph Weigel the Elder in Nuremberg in 1719.
